The creation and design of the characters were of great importance to achieve one main objective:
creating a distinctive identity for Opark Aqualand.
The character and wall illustration design of Opark Aqualand is mainly based on the theme of the Oulupia story.
And the story behind the characters is a galaxy: The Oushulupi Way or the Oulupia galaxy.
Oulupia has some creatures who struggle with severe water shortage. Reports say that the temperature is so
high in Oulupia that its trees pierce their leaves into the soil and look for drops of water in the air
with their roots. To beat the water shortage, all the Oulupia's creatures unite together and build their
spacecraft with the help of Neil Armstrong. Finally, they land on Opark Aqualand.
